Change aspect ratio of a source?

So I've been toying around w/ my Elgato and OBS for a bit now, and one thing that is slightly annoying is the fact that i can't capture SD content in proper aspect ratio.

I'm curious if it would be possible to allow a source's aspect ratio to be unlocked and changed to force it to the correct size. It would be nice if I could just force the 16:9 capture to squish itself into the correct aspect ratio. Not sure if this is a possibility, but it would certainly eliminate the only issue i can see with OBS when using the Elgato.

Also if happens to be a plugin for this kind of thing, please let me know. I did a search and only 2 threads came up, one of which might do what i want, but it's hard to tell from reading the thread, and it hasn't been updated in some time.

Thanks for all the work on OBS you guys do.

This is a bug with OBS at the moment. I have to fix it in the rewrite due to design flaws in OBS1. It's getting real close, slowly getting back all the features that OBS1 has right now.

You can resize ignoring the aspect ratio by holding shift when resizing it. This doesn't lock it, and you'll have to guess what the correct ratio is, but that should at least be a workaround as long as there's no way to force a source into the correct aspect ratio.

Fantastic! this will certainly work in the mean time. I guess I didn't think of shift allowing for free form re-sizing because im so used to shift being used to maintain a shape.

Thanks a ton for the tip!
