Question / Help Certain Games Giving A Black Screen

Hello when I attempt recording The Witch's House which is a 12-bit RPG Maker game I get a black screen if I use capture game, or a black screen but I can see my cursor if using window capture. However, other games such as Boson X that I try recording work fine. I have tried to fix it myself by reading posts and watching videos but no luck :( I do have a reallllly poo computer if that might be it. Here lies thy holy scriptures of thy logs

I've actually been playing this game too, just by total coincidence. Game capture doesn't work with these sort of games currently, but window capture and monitor capture do, at least for me. I see you're on windows vista -- there may be some issues with windows vista, though I'm not entirely sure. Did you run windows update and get the vista platform update as well? Though I guess you did if you can run OBS. Hm.

Also wow, you have very little RAM available.

Yeah I know right! It was free though so I can't really complain too much, and it is viewable on monitor mode but it's all sorts of wonky. My computer hopped on the crap train chuga chuga chuga chuga chuga cough hack flat line.
