This topic is about centering text, that's possible in studio afaik.
Drop shadow is probably not a high priority thing. I believe someone created a text source using Pango that has drop shadow though: https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/text-source-using-pango.447/

FreeType 2 in Studio does have Drop shadow but it's more subtle than in Classic.
Centering multiple lines of text is possible with the GDI+ Text source
