Question / Help Capture Problem

Hi there,
i try to capture (not stream) some Cinematics of my old Games.
But when i capture for example the Intro of "Shadows of the Empire" the game itself runs perfect but the captured movie lags. I tried different Solutions and Settings but its always the same.

Perhaps someone could give me an advice ;)

I attached the latest logfile and uploaded a short Clip where you can see the lag. (http://www.filedropper.com/lag)

Even changing the Output downscale to 3.00 (426x240) and setting x264 CPU Preset to ultrafast doesn't change anything.
So still help needed ;)

Anyone can give me a hint ;)?
I am quite clueless, what settings I should change. I tried a lot and my PC seems not to underpowered for this.

Your log file is cut-off. Post the whole thing.

Set your framerate to the same as your monitor is running at, or half of it. You have it set to 25fps right now, but that only makes sense if your monitor runs at 50fps. I think even in PAL areas of Europe most people's monitors run at 60fps.

My monitor runs at 60 fps. I thought that I would possibly help to reduce lags in capturing, when I reduce the fps. But now its 30 fps again.

You are right. I do local recording. I followed the Guide you mentioned and did every setting like the guide. But its the same result. The game runs perfect, but when I look at the captured file its laggy.
As for the Log it was always the complete log. I try again as attachment.

Edit: I just compared the Attachment and the logfile. Al lines identical.

Which video card do you have and are its drivers up to date? Try running with Aero enabled, and Window capture.

I don't completely understand how to read the profiler results, but I think this is putting the blame on your GPU:

I have a XFX Double D R9 280X
CPU: i7-4770 @ 3,40 GHz
RAM 16 GB

I use Windows capture because most old Games of the 90ties don't work with Game Capture but the results are the same for Aero enabled and disabled. Game runs perfect and captured flv lags.

Yep with Windows capture I meant Monitor Capture because of the above reasons. I thought my system is fast enough for that. And that perhaps I should alter some of my settings.

And me again ;)
Is my PC to slow for Monitor Capture or can I alter some of my Settings?

I just want to record without lags :(

Every computer is too slow for monitor capture. If you insist on it, you might try lowering the resolution.

Enable Aero.
DO NOT use Monitor Capture under Windows 7. Ever.

If you need to capture a full monitor, use a Game Capture on the DWM process. It will cap your primary monitor.
But really, devoted Game and Window Capture sources are strongly advised for many good reasons.
