Hi,
I know this topic has been brought up numerous times in the past, but I couldn't find the answer I'm looking for.
So, obviously the ability to capture only game audio would be an extremely useful feature, so I'm assuming there's a very good reason why we can't do it yet. All the leads I've found pretty much ignores the issue at hand and just points to using VAC, and CheVolume if necessary. These don't work very well for me, however, and they seem a bit overkill for the task. Not to mention I think the feature is extremely relevant to OBS, so I can't imagine it's a case of "doesn't fit".
CheVolume already does something similar, and Steam only broadcasts game audio, even for added non Steam games, so what's the problem? Is it "just" a case of requiring a lot of code?
Sorry if I'm coming off entitled. I certainly don't mean to imply that I demand this feature right now because I've seen it done elsewhere. I just can't remember seeing any official statement regarding implementation or not into OBS is all.
Thanks for a still great product
