Question / Help Capture OBS Window?

Hi Guys,

So I have been using OBS for a while now and love it. I'm thinking of setting up a cast where I intend to teach others about OBS. The problem I'm having is I can't seem to capture the OBS window from within OBS itself, I tried Window capture but OBS can't find its own window, I have tried Monitor Capture and a Sub-region but the OBS window then just repeats. Is there any way of just capturing the OBS window and not have the program window repeat etc?... hope Iv'e made myself clear.

Well of course OBS would repeat. OBS displays the thing that it's capturing, and the thing that it's capturing is itself. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Droste_effect

If you don't want that to happen, then either use a different screen recording program to record OBS, or open two instances of OBS by adding "-multi" to the end of the shortcut target.
