Capture Card Sound randomly stops working

Hey everyone,

So I recently I had my first stream that involved the usage of my new Capture Card, the miraBox. And for the most part it all went fine, but occasionally viewers complained about the audio being gone. And indeed it stopped recording audio from the card. Switching it from "Record Audio Only" to something else and then back fixes the issue. But then it will happen again later.

Does anyone know what I can do so this stops happening?

This is my log file of the session: https://obsproject.com/logs/TJWC6JYy-7Kiergm

Edit: The scene in question I was using was "Randomizer", and the Audio device that randomly stops transmitting is the "miraCC" (MiraBox Video Capture)

Thanks in Advance

I use "Custom Audio Device" in OBS settings per this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Km26ROYBi0E&t=236s at 3:50 into the video.
Then "Advanced Settings" and "Monitor and Output" from pull down for MiraBox.
The video then goes thru OBS steps to stop/start stream to fix OBS audio.
I have the MiraBox HD, not the 4K but now audio works nicely in OBS for Windows.
( OBS for Linux doesn't have the same "Custom Audio" checkbox so MiraBox audio in OBS is not working for me )

Normally this happens with audio devices that do not send signals properly, causing OBS to add buffering time to compensate. Once the buffer reaches 2000ms though, OBS drops the source as 'un-compensatable'. I do show a number of 'adding buffering' lines in your log, but none that would reach the cutoff, which is odd.

The fix generally is to turn OFF both 'Use Device Timestamps' and 'Buffering' in the properties of the source. This may result in audio de-sync if the drift is real. If it's not and the device is just sending bad timestamps, it'll just fix the problem.
