Question / Help Capture Card + Sound Card recommendations

Currently running Ubuntu 18.04 on a i7-4960X streaming build and would like suggestions for capture card and sound card; this is my dedicated streaming PC/server, I have a second Windows PC for gaming and other stuff.

Will most likely be streaming in 720p60, possibly upgrading to 1080p60 in the future when I get my own dedicated line so looking for capture card that's a little cheaper, but compatibility and reliability is important. Heard good things about Magewell and Blackmagic Design cards in this area, but don't know details.

I currently use a Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 on my Windows machine to connect various instruments, a Roland VT-3 voice synth, my cheap mic, and a soon-to-come mixer. I know Focusrite has zero Linux support with none planned in the future so I'm looking for a USB-based (could be internal, I don't mind) Linux compatible soundcard people here have found reliable for live streaming games or talk shows. Again, compatibility/reliability is most important, but I'm willing to recompile drivers if necessary for better performance

Capture card, pretty much only blackmagic would be what is recommended. Decklinks have a high chance of "just working" with the blackmagic source type. I have a duo2 and can take in 4 1080p60 feeds with it.

The integrated USB interfaces in Behringer mixers (both the xenyx and x32 lines) work fine on linux (at least have been for me).
