Question / Help Capture Card problems

Hi, new to this software.... anyway i'm trying to stream to Twitch but that's not the problem i have done in the past with another programme and had no problems but as this programme is free and you have more to choose from its sort of complicated for me anyway i really can't explain this problem since i really am not sure how to describe it anyway ill upload pic then your see what i'm having trouble with and on top of that i have tried changing settings etc to no luck what so ever

Looks like your capture card may be mis-detecting the resolution of your source. Go into the properties. You may try setting a custom resolution for it by ticking the box under the 'Video' section there. It's a good idea to set the resolution, FPS, color mode and enable 'use buffering' (but leave it at 0, fixes audio desync issues).

If it still isn't fixed, you'll need to hit the 'Configure' button up at the top and deal with your capture device's configuration application to get it capping at the right aspect ratio and size. :)
