Capture Card Not Working

I set OBS ready to record some footage using my PS3. It was working fine until I selected a game off the PS3's main menu. Then the screen went to this coloured screen that is in the attached picture.
I rest my PC, PS3, took the USB out and everything, and its not working. Tried other consoles as well and the screen stays the same.
No idea what has happened because I've never had this. The screen has occasionally went that coloured way beforehand but always went back to the game after a second.
I tried some of the other USB ports on my PC but only 1 works.
Any helps is appreciated!

Hi there. I have used a Video Capture Card before, this is the default screen usually displayed to say that your Video Capture Card isn't receiving any signal. Have you checked that you HDMI works and if it worth asking was this purchased from a place like Temu?

When I used a capture card my set was connected: Device > HDMI > Capture Card > USB > USB Port.

Hi, ah I see. Should I buy a new one then?
I've tried several HDMI capable and none of them work. As I said in my initial post, it was worth fine one minute and not the next. I have OBS up and running with my connected console on, then it just went to that screen.
I purchased them from Amazon.

Make sure Video Capture Device properties (resolution/FPS) are set properly for the game/console. Some PS3 games are 720 only.
