Hello,

I've been trying to get Open Broadcaster Software to work with my newly purchased Capture Card (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002SQ ... UTF8&psc=1). I select Video Capture Device and set it to AVerMedia BDA Analog Capture Secondary for HDMI input capture, despite it's name since I found this out googling. All it shows is a black screen and currently the only way to stream is to software cap my whole screen which is taking a toll on my upload speed.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

You unfortunately don't mention what it is that you're capturing over the HDMI port. I have the same model of capture card, and it works for all inputs here.

You seem to be using the UYVY color format, you could try changing that to YUY2, see if that works, that is at least the default color format my card picks when I capture with it. If you are trying to capture PS3 output over HDMI, this will sadly not work except without window capturing the Aver Media Center, since the PS3 uses HDCP encryption regardless of content displayed.

Thank you, I did forget to mention it was a PS3 source. Sad days.
