So I somehow screwed up the game capture from my capture card and can't figure out how to fix it! Please help if you can:
I was setting up a new microphone in OBS. When I began setting it up, both the video and audio coming through from my PS4 in OBS was working normally. Suddenly the picture went black - occasionally my Elgato capture card unlinks from OBS and I have to re-link it - I thought this is what happened. When I tried to select the Game Capture HD60s+ in 'Properties', it was greyed-out, but I noticed there was a second identical Game Capture HD60s+ in the drop-down menu. I tried selecting this and nothing happened. I unplugged and replugged the USB from the Elgato in my computer.
Finally I got it working - the video and the audio came back, but the video came back EXTREMELY framey/laggy. I am not recording or streaming - this is simply how it comes up in the preview window now, and continues when I record and, presumably, when I stream. I've checked all the settings and, as far as I can tell, changed everything to how it was before but NOTHING seems to fix the lag. I've restarted OBS and my computer about half a dozen times and nothing seems to be fixing the problem.
Any suggestions or advice would be much appreciated!
P.S. The lag isn't just in-game - it's anything in the PS4 menu. The PS4 and games are working perfectly for me, it's just now in OBS they've suddenly developed this shocking lag.
