Capture Card Audio Issues

Hi folks,

I hope you're all well?

New to the forum so please be patient with me :)

Basically, the audio from my capture card that is going to the stream is the right volume, but the playback audio to me is stupidly quiet, and the only way to make it how it should be is to turn the capture card audio in the mixer up to full which will then hurt the streams ears.

How do I set it up so that the volume for the capture card is perfect, but also so that I can hear the game at full audio too?

Make it loud again for your ears. In the OBS audio-mixer you see a slider for your game sound. Turn that down accordingly until it fits your streaming clients expectations. The peaks at the loudest parts (game explosions or something like that) may reach the -2dB mark.
