Question / Help Capt. Card v. Game Capture, which is less resource intensive

I know that game capture is already a lot less resource intensive than Xsplit's region screen capture mode while streaming
Is there some way to offload even MORE of burden to a video capture card perhaps? I have a Avermedia Livegamer HD and i'm just wondering if which will give me the smoothest performance while streaming: adding a video capture device (webcam and capture card) or use game capture and webcam.

I just want to feel like i'm not even streaming while streaming, if you get what i mean

Re: Capt. Card v. Game Capture, which is less resource inten

If you use a capture card on the same computer you're streaming from, you're basically just trading video card load (game capture uses pretty much zero CPU) for CPU load (capture card drivers do use CPU to display the captured video, they're not magical).

The main reason to use a capture card would be to either capture external sources like consoles, or for a two PC setup where you use one computer as your dedicated streaming computer and just feed the video and audio from your main gaming computer through that.
