I have a problem when recording with Nvidia NVENC encoding. I have tried using x264 but it makes my game frame drop a lot. When using Nvidia NVENC my game runs perfectly with the exception being that there is a little video quality loss. My problem is that when viewing the video, if i pause or skip to another place the video just stops. The pause button no longer works, I can't skip anywhere, it just stops. It is the same when editing the video with movie maker. I don't think it's my pc because everything runs fine except for the video. The video its self doesn't seem to be lagging or anything, it just wont work.
When using x264 i go from 100+ frames ingame to 30 - 45 frames, but i can view, pause, skip, and edit just fine. the problem only happens when i record using Nvidia NVENC. I know Nvidia NVENC is generally not advised, but i would really like to use it because it has 0% frame drop ingame whatsoever.
Note: if it means anything i have a Nvidia Geforce GT 740 graphics card.
