Question / Help Cant turn up my game sound

So I can not turn up my game sound in OBS... All my games on my stream are super quiet but my mic has perfect sound when I talk. The sound of my games in my headset are fine as well. It seems to be a prob with OBS audio output.

I try many different capture devices and it all seems the same.

Have you tried changing the Desktop Boost under the audio settings? I need to have mine around 7.

You're probably going to want to switch desktop audio devices away from the SPDIF port to 'speakers' or 'default'.

Additionally, you should switch to AAC audio at 96, or 128kbps (160 is overkill, and essentially just wasted bandwidth). That's just incidental though... MP3 is a fallback method and provides significantly inferior audio at the same bitrate.
Extra-additionally, you should avoid using Monitor Capture under Win7 AT ALL COSTS. Consider it an absolute last-resort, as it is the slowest, poorest capture method available; you should be using game capture, or window capture (aero on). This is almost definitely being caused by the monitor capture in-use, and is ridiculously bad:

I'd also be a bit surprised if you are getting good visual quality with 1000kbps on a 720@30 stream; usually the acceptable break-even is 1500... you'll probably get quite a bit of blocking on anything with any appreciable on-screen motion at that rate.
You may also want to look at switching to the 64-bit OBS if you have W7-64 installed, for the performance increase.

But yes, as far as the audio goes, I'd say that changing the desktop audio source would be the first thing to try; if it still comes in ridiculously quiet on the 'default' setting, then go for the Desktop Boost multiplier. Cheers!
