Question / Help Can't sync up Mic and Webcam

I have been using OBS for a while and all of a sudden my mic and my webcam are no longer synced up, had no need to change anything to get them synced up as they were fine in the first place. So of course I hit the internet and everyone is basically saying set buffering and mic delay to the same MS and so I try that with varying numbers for like 10 minutes recording video watching it to see if there is any difference, and none of it matters the Mic's sound is always about 1 second after, (My lips move and audio comes 1 second after they start in webcam).

So I think what if I have the mic audio come in before the webcam? So I set the buffering to 2k ms and the mic delay to 1k ms, same thing mic comes in about 1 second after the lip movement on webcam, never changing the amount of time between lip movement and mic audio, even after another 10 minutes of various numbers in both, always about 1 second after.

Anyone got the fix to this?

you're doing it wrong. if video comes before audio then your audio needs a - offset. try scene buffering to 700ms then set mic offset to -700. make sure you do not use "Force desktop audio to use video timestamps as a base for audio time" in advanced tab of OBS. also make sure that your webcam is build as a global source. to do this you will need to remove all webcam sources then rebuild.
