Question / Help Can't stream Guild Wars 2

Okay I have figured out my LoL problems and everything seems fine. But when I setup the GW2 game scene and add the game capture whenever I preview or stream it's just a black screen that it broadcast. Does anyone have any suggestion to what might be causing this?

Hi,

Sometimes I have to start the game, switch with alt + tab to obs, click game capture properties, click refresh, select the game and go back into the game in order to get it work.

Could try the game capture hotkey as well to double-check, sometimes it can work a bit better. Simply set a hotkey and when the game is maximized hit the hotkey to trigger it to activate. (Also make sure OBS is running as administrator)

Okay check all of those off the list. Still just a black screen.

Run league of legends in borderless/windowed mode and use window capture.

Okay, logged into GW2 tried windowed full screen mode and tried window capture. Still nothing just a black screen broadcasting to twitch.tv and in my preview.

Post the log of when you ran window capture, if possible.

running on win 7 and now win 10 I had the same problem the game capture plugin wasn't working (black screen) even though audio was being sent to Twitch, but was quickly fixed by running obs as administrator.
