Question / Help Cant start stream before starting game

Hi,
when ever I want to stream Battlefield 4 I need to start the game before I can start the stream.
If I want to switch the server im playing on I need to stop the stream, load the game and restart the stream.
Trying it the other way round causes the game to start up with just 1 to 3 fps and not getting loading done because of this. Trying to stop the stream while this causes OBS to completely freeze without the possibility of closing it. Not even with killing the process via task manager.

Starting the stream after starting the game works perfectly fine with my normal 100-140 fps.

Well that's definitely strange, I'd probably have to be in front of the computer to know why that's the case. I would probably recommend just a little bit of downscale but if it works I suppose it's all good. I'm not sure what to suggest though. It seems very strange, though I can't even really theorize at this point. I know it's a pain but you may have to do some trial-and-error to try to figure out what's going on.

I have the same issue. I can start a game of BF4 then start the stream while game is in progress. However if i start the stream while i try to load a server just slows it to a less than a snails pace.

Hi. I solved the Problem for me with several Scenes.
Just activate a scene with a picture or what ever and when the game is in loading screen switch to the scene with the game.
