Question / Help Can't record/stream error: "Starting the output failed..."

Hello there. I have been using OBS for awhile now just fine. However, today I set up my second monitor and all of the sudden I'm getting this error message when trying to record OR stream:

"Starting the output failed. Please check log for details.

Note: If you are using NVENC or AMD encoders, make sure your video drivers are up to date."

My logs are attached.

My pc specs are:

Intel core i7 4790k
Radeon R9 280 OC edition
16G ram

Please help

It is not, at least according to the log file. It is very likely that you encountered the "can't change encoder" issue that has been reported a while back. Update your AMD driver or create a new profile (NEW, not a copy :P).
