Question / Help can't record sound

every time i record my game is obs showing that it's recording sound but then i watch my video is there no sound. and i have set the audio settings correct

What video player are you using to view your video files? Windows media player? If so you may just be lacking codecs, I would probably recommend using VLC for to view your videos because it pretty much supports every codec right off the bat. Otherwise you'll probably just need to download some sort of codec pack or something.
