Question / Help Can't record EAC games.

Hello everyone, im rather new to obs and to recording gameplay in general but according to the list of recording software Obs is compatible with EAC
(found here: http://faq.easyanticheat.net/content/10/13/en/list-of-eac-compatible-recording-software.html)
but when i try to record my games with EAC all i get is a black screen.
Things i have tried:
1. Reinstalling OBS
2. Running as Admin
3. Checking Anti Cheat Compatiblity
4. Restarting both OBS and the game mutiple times.
Any help

Are you Running OBS as an Admin prior to starting the game with the Anti-Cheat Hook? That was my error when I tried to stream Infestation: Survivor Stories Thailand which has EAC. When you select the "Game Capture" source, a Small window is below that explains any Hooking Errors, what does it state?

Nothing. the box gets ticked just fine and when i preview or record it only records a black screen and audio also yes i am running obs as admin

I found a temporary workaround for the meantime but if anyone can help me fix game capture that would be great because i would much rather record with that.
The temporary workaround is using window capture on my game, setting the thing to record the entire window pressing ok, then opening up the properties again. as long as my properties are open i can record the game fine. Tried duplicating this method with game capture and continued to get a black screen.
