Question / Help Can't record audio- how to?

Ok, so I've been fiddling with the OBS, and I can't figure out how to add audio. I've figured out how to add scenes and the window captures, and it shows that during my recording, there isn't a mic [correct] and that there is sound playing from the desktop [correct], but it won't RECORD any sound whatsoever.

Make sure you have selected the correct devices in OBS.

try codec select: AAC

I've tried all the devices, won't record any sound.

And what/where is Codec Select?
