When I use OBS I cannot record any video games in 144hz/fps. my computer is well more than powerful enough to handle this but I cant seem to get OBS to preform like i need it to. Can anyone help me figure this out and solve this? I can record 60fps game play just fine but i didn't spend $850 on my monitor to play games at 60 fps. i know a lot of youtube who play at higher fps and record at lower and do it just fine, i just cant figure out how they do it.

it is not that i want to record 144hz game play it is simply that when i play at the high fps OBS will not record properly it is jittery lagging and choppy, it is unwatchable. how to i play games at 144hz and record 60 fps? so many people do it but i just cannot learn how they do it.

What I do see from your log is that you should not have a display and game capture in the same scene. Move that display capture into it's own scene.

Follow up questions:
What game(s) are you trying to capture?

What do your recordings look like? (Do you have an example that can be seen/viewed?)

Have you tried limiting the frame rate in your game to a multiple of the recording frame rate? (i.e. you're recording at 60fps so set your monitor/games to 120fps, not 144fps).

Also keep in mind that unless you game is running at a stable/constant frame rate you will end up having some type of jitter/jerkiness.
