Can't open obs studio windows

I downloaded the latest version of obs studio, I can open the app, but for some reason it's windows won't open at all. I know the app is running because when I position the cursor over the app a small display above the app shows my setup in OBS studio.

Check " C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\OBS\logs " for a log and please post it here

Here is the most recent log. Also OBS won't close for some reason unless I uninstall it.

is it since the update? old scripts that are no longer supported?

Uninstall OBS, clean the installations folder and the C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\OBS folder
Then install version 28.1.1

Do I need to checkmark "Settings, Scenes, etc." to fix this issue?

maybe, it all depends on the previous version to the problem.
To avoid any problem, and if your profiles and scenes are not too complicated to redo, delete everything (check everything) in order to start on a clean installation.
Be careful, the problems can and especially come from plug-ins which have become obsolete (not up to date) since version 28. You must also manually clean the OBS installation folder and also delete the C:\Users\< folder username>\AppData\Roaming\OBS

Couln't find file "C:\Users\< folder username>\AppData\Roaming\OBS" but I did find something similar, but it ends with "obs-studio" instead of "OBS"

I deleted the obs-studio roaming app data and now it seems to be working fine, but the overlays have been removed. Are the streamelement overlays still compatible with the current version of OBS studio?

Somehow this issue is back again

I erased the roaming file for obs again and got the issue again when I re-opened the app the next day.

Last time I opened OBS studio before this issue happened again I had modified and added some streamelement overlays to my scenes.
