When i click on obs to open it the first time nothing will happen but after clicking on it the second time it will leave the message "Obs is already running.. shut down any existing instances of obs.. ect", if i click launch anyway nothing will happen either. I cannot see the instance of obs on my desk top, nor on my task bar or the little system tray on the task bar. I can however see it in the task manager, and if i click launch anyway the second time i can see 2 instances so i know it is doing something. I have tried restarting and reinstalling many times, i have tried looking at old forum posts of similar issues and nothing has worked for me so far, please help

running a 2nd instance is bad practice (and not going to help at all)
speaking of any app, not just OBS
If you try to start and app, and you have patience, and it never does appear
- Do NOT attempt to start a 2nd instance
- I'd start with Checking Windows Event log (App, System and Security) to see if any log entries that might help troubleshoot problem
- Then I'd check OBS logs to see
if you are lucky, OBS Log-Analyzer may help ] I don't have it in front of me, but there is an OBS crash log Analyzer as well, if I recall correctly?? or maybe same URL?? sorry not sure about analyzing crash logs...
