Question / Help Can't open locally recorded 6.2gb mp4 file for play or editing

Hi, I did a stream over the weekend with OBS and it went well, and I wanted to upload the stream footage to youtube and had recorded it locally also. Today, however, when I try to play it back in vlc or other video programs it won't even open, and when I try to put it into my video editors, some of them return a "out of memory" error or just stall out

Is there any way to salvage my video file or is it broken? It must have recorded something to be such a big file size. It's 6.2gb total, mp4 file format.

Thanks for any help anyone can provide

If an mp4 is broken, it's really broken, there is no way to fix it. And usually it's broken when you can't play it in VLC.
