Can't open download to install

I've downloaded OBS to install on my Mac (running Monterey 12.6) and I get this message: You can’t open the application “OBS” because this application is not supported on this Mac. I have searched high and low, tried all the tricks mentioned and I can't seem to figure this out (I'm admittedly not very tech savvy). Does anyone know what on my Mac is not supporting the program and how to fix it (or steer me to where I can read about it)?
