Can't Make the Output Recording Folder Directory and File Format Persistent/"Sticky"

Every time I log out and in to OBS and make a recording, I have to re-enter the directory for the recording file location and the recording file format. Does anyone know how to make these entries persistent for a scene? Thanks.

I am NOT authoritative on this, and I don't recall a similar query in recent years
Please share to details of your file recording location. Is it a removeable drive? or ?? I have no issue on local disk drives with recording location being persistent (and not with normal user directory space)
Any potential file permission oddities?
Anything related in Windows Event log?
