I am totally lost. Trying to get OBS to stream video from my built in camera to VLC without luck.
Just installed OBS and VLC. Set it up per the instructions in this link ( https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/obs-studio-send-an-udp-stream-to-a-second-pc-using-obs.455/ ). Not getting anything at all on VLC. Used TCPView to see if packets were being sent and they are on the multicast address 224.0.0.1 port 6000. Packet length is 1200, tried 1316 butt no work. Uninstalled and reinstalled both programs. Tried VMix but it would not load, saying my video card didn't support directx v9, but VLC shows DirectX V11. Computer is Acer Predator with NVidia graphics GTX1660ti. I've been at this for 2 days without luck. Tried the NVidia codec just in case but OBS really didn't like that at all, every time I hit record it would complain about the codec not supported.
I really need some direction here, every YouTube video and forum post I have looked and and duplicated failed to work.

Thanks,
Mike
