Question / Help Can't load OBS Virtual Camera

When I run the .exe I get the following error message: Windows cannot access the Specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.

I am running OBS 25.0.8 64 bit and trying to load OBS-virtualcam-2.0.5. I have tried turning off my anti-virus software as well and it still doesn't work.

Any help would be appreciated.

What AV software are you using? Definitely sounds like it's still being blocked.

No AV Software. Just OBS. My goal is to be able to use OBS with Zoom. i have also tried to reset all my permissions on my C: drive but I get the same error. Are there instructions on loading the plugin manually instead of using the installer?
