Question / Help Can't Install OBS

Whenever I run the installer I get an error message stating that "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permission to access the item."

This is after having previously successfully installed OBS and attempting a re-install after having a few issues earlier.
 
Try disabling your antivirus program temporarily during the installation. You'll also probably want to whitelist the OBS installation directories afterward.
 
Worked perfectly. Of course it'd be the one thing I didn't try.
