Okay so I try to install OBS on my Windows 8.1 machine, I have both Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 x64 and x86 installed currently because the installer told me that It needed them to install. Well, when I try to install it after installing both x64 and x86 it still tells me

"Your system is missing runtime components that OBS Studio requires. Please make sure to install both vcredist_x64 and vcredist_x86. Would you like to download them?"

I've installed and uninstalled both the runtime twice without any change in this message.

It can be a gamble installing the vcredist files, so many of them. I recommend you to try this AiO vcredist installer.
It should fix any pain in the ass you'll encounter with vcredist requirements.

I know that the Bug is Solved but I have the same problem. I had run the file that here was given, but it's not working.

Sorry for my Bad English I'm from Germany.

You're English is perfectly fine, hell it's great. You can go here https://pastebin.com/raw/46rfrtBv and try the latest version of the AiO pack (The top one is always the latest version). Hopefully it will fix your problem.

Hi, I have Windows 8.1 and when I try to install Obs, I get an error "due to extensive use of DirectX 10 features, OBS Studio requires Windows Vista SP2 or higher and cannot be installed on this version of Windows". I have DirectX 11 installed, could you help me?

Check you aren't running the installer in compatibility mode, or just use the zip.
