Bug Report Can't hook to DayZ, despite both Admin/No Admin

Hello there.

It seems I can't capture DayZ with OBS-MP.

Here is my log:

I have tried both with Admin rights, bot without Admin rights but it still doesn't work.

I can capture normally with the old OBS + Anti Cheat Hook.

I've got the exact same issue; it's due to the BattlEye anti cheat system DayZ uses. I haven't found a way around it.

I use the old OBS for DayZ, and the new one for everything else.

Looking forward to the introduction of the Anti Cheat Hook in OBS-MP.

I'm just wondering if the root cause is 100% BattleEye.

It might be worth having someone from the development team checking this.

If there's anything us users can do, I'll be happy to use.
 
Looks pretty much 100 % BattlEye issue to me.

Oh and using the game with the launch without BattlEye option works fine:

You can't do that. Only Operation Arrowhead allows that.
But you can contact them: http://www.battleye.com/contact/

EDIT: I also noticed that you're trying to capture the standalone client. But this shouldn't make a difference because the standalone is also using BattlEye as anti-cheat system.

Brilliant info Gol D. Ace, thank you. I have contacted BattlEye with as much info as possible. Hopefully this will get the issue resolved.
 
Yea, known issue. We sort of have to rely on them here unfortunately.

The more games whitelisting OBS MP the better. Personally haven't had trouble with anything like this. Atleast not yet.
 
Hi guys,

A quick message to let you all know - this seems to be resolved now. BattlEye must have sorted it out their end, as I can use OBS-MP to capture DayZ.
