Can't hear other audio track when using new headphones

I use two audio tracks in OBS, the first to record desktop sound and the second to record my mic. I used to be able to hear them both when I used Apple Earpods but since upgrading to a HyperX Cloud 2 Wired headset, I cannot hear the audio from my mic anymore, just the desktop audio. I know for a fact that these files have second track audio because I could hear that track perfectly fine before using the new headphones, but now I can't hear them anymore despite plugging back in my old headphones and making the corresponding changes in my sound settings that I used to use before. Anyone know why this might be the case? Thanks.

Do you mean you are trying to monitor your own audio from your mic? Please explain a bit more. I know you can enable the ability to monitor any audio by selecting it in advanced audio properties by clicking the cog in your sound tab. Not sure if that is what you are looking for.

No, I mean that when I record videos with OBS, I used to be able to hear both of the audio tracks in the recording but now I can only hear one.

It sounds like you'll need to go into your scene and manually setup or change your audio input device. If you already have one set up, you can change the properties on it to set it to the new input device. Ours always reverts to Default or something, and needs to be checked and tested every time. Once I set my kid up with a HyperX Cloud Flight S, we started having similar audio problems in OBS. It's a chore every time to get the multiple audio devices set up, and too often OBS fails to capture game audio unless we go to the extreme of setting up window specific audio for the game in question. Other headsets don't seem to lead to these kinds of problems in OBS, but he much prefers the audio quality of the HyperX.
