Can't get screen capture to work in OBS version 26.1.2+dfsg1-1 (64bit) under Ubuntu 21.04

Screen capture was working with Ubuntu Linux 20.04, but after upgrading to 21.04 My Screen capture quit working. I checked all the settings but can't see what changed. Any idea would help.

I found a fix. OBS does not work under Wayland needs Xorg.

An upgrade from 20.10 to 21.04 indeed automatically has you switch to Wayland. OBS Studio does not (yet) work in Wayland. To switch to X11, log out. Select your username so the password field appears. At that point, you will see a cog wheel in the bottom right of the login screen. It allows you to select "Ubuntu on Xorg". After that, enter your password to log in.
