Can't get preview or recordings in 16.9 aspect ratio

Hi all, most grateful for any help
I'm trying to record from my tv hard drive, these are all in 16.9
My usb capture device is recognised in OBS as 16.9 PAL
All the settings in OBS have been set at 16.9 aspect ratio
Yet the preview screen and recordings are all less than 16.9 and appear squashed
Most grateful for any ideas

aaah - sorted this out myself!
I went to 'transform' and then 'stretch to screen' and hey presto got 16.9 aspect ration on the preview screen and my recordings
Hope this helps anyone else who encountered this
