Hello, I'm having trouble getting OBS to run at all. I'm using an older gaming laptop but it has good specs.
(Win10, I7-4700HQ, 16GB RAM, Nvidia Geforce GTX 765m) GPU driver updates no longer supported
After installing, the program will run and ask me if I want to lean toward streaming or recording. After I choose recording I'm pretty much done. If I click on anything, OBS no longer responds, freezing up and turning white. I have to then use task manager to shut it down. If I try to run the program afterward, a popup appears saying that OBS wasn't closed properly and it asks me if I want to run it in safety mode or normal. Whichever option I choose the program then crashes and I'm no longer able to even access it. If I uninstall and reinstall, the crash message still appears.
I then have to use RevoUninstaller to completely uninstall and clean all leftover files off of my system. After that I'm able to reinstall and access the program but I'm right back to where I started- with a freeze up, task manager close, crash on attempting to open, followed by my friend Revo Uninstaller.
Any ideas?
