Can't get both mic audio and video source audio into Zoom (High Sierra)

Hello all. I see similar issues to this, but no solution has worked for me yet. Can't get my interface mic into OBS at all, and can't get any mic AND OBS audio out to Zoom at the same time except using ZoomAudioDevice.

Mac OS 10.13.6 High Sierra
OBS 25.0.8 (64 bit)
Zoom 5.0.2
Audio Interface: MOTU 8pre (firewire)
Also using Virtual Camera
Have tried with Soundflower, iShowU, BlackHole
Launching from terminal with: /Applications/OBS.app/Contents/MacOS/OBS; exit

First, I'll say I'm generally confused what OBS's main audio outputs are and if there's any way to select a specific output source. Seems like it's just mirroring my system preference.

Okay.

See others are also having this issue: OBS is not recognizing any Mic/Aux signals at all. Tried my built-in. Tried each Mic/Aux channel in OBS, and tried each channel in my interface. Even tried some aggregate devices. There's nothing in Security&Preferences that seems to be blocking my microphone. I never see the levels react to anything. Stumped.

Second, the only way I'm able to send OBS audio out to Zoom is by choosing ZoomAudioDevice that as my Monitoring Device. I can also make my monitoring device Soundflower to share it as Zoom's input if I want others to hear it, but then a) I can't hear it myself and b) I can't use my microphone.

I have made every version of multi-output and aggregate device with all these virtual cables and my built-in and interface. No matter what I do, in Zoom I get either the microphone or the computer audio. Never both.

Sincerest appreciation for guidance.
