Question / Help Can't get any sound from my desktop.

Perhaps you set your default playback device in audio settings to something other than default, perhaps you're using USB headphones or something which are redirecting the sound, not entirely sure. Would need a log file to see what kind of devices are being used.

does this only happen when you use a specific app? do you get no sound at all?

Is your game/media player set to output sound through your X-Fi sound card or do they go through some sort of USB headset?

Normally they go trough my Astro,
but also if I put it on my XFI card is still doesn't work :(

I;ve tried almost everything

according to your signature, the app has worked at some point for you. did something change recently before this started occurring?
