Question / Help Can't get a video capture device on OBS screen

Wow-I'd really appreciate any ideas you smart people have! This whole scenario is an ongoing nightmare. I simply wanted to livestream music to a site called StreetJelly.com, that apparently uses WebRTC, (but I've read OBS can be used with it as well?). Since you can't find a webcam these days, I thought I'd try to use my iPhone 11 pro max; Focusrite Solo One 3rd gen audio interface, and a small 2015 HP Pavillion X2 laptop. Wrong-troubles at every turn-for weeks! I was happy a short time today when at least I got the audio from my mic to show up on the meter (OBS Studio) but the video capture will not pick-up/recognize my iPhone as the video device. Well, actually a couple days ago it showed the iPhone on the list, but would only use the camera on the laptop. It does nothing when the phone as video device is selected.

Auto-config wiz says laptop is good. The HP has a micro hdmi and two usb's-(one C one A).Tried 'em all with two different lightning adapters to the phone, & nothing! I even bought a Apple download app for usiing an IOS phone camera on OBS that is supposed to allow the iPhone to be recognized by OBS for livestreaming. Oh, and did I mention I joined the group at FTL to get a streamkey for OBS? Crazy.

So, I don't know if I can make this work with what I have, but I'd like to try...someone to can tell me I'm a "Techno-peasant" - I can take it!

Thanks for any advice you can offer! Even if it's "Start over"!

You have to be "Invited" to Streetjelly PREMIUM (they haven't started charging for it yet) after a bunch of shows. Then they will give you a streamkey to use OBS. I just tried to get around it by using the OBS Virtual Cam in version 26 - Works on Facebook - but not on Streetjelly. Just use the laptop cam and audio interface until "Invited". What is "group at FTL "?

Actually - I was able to use the OBS virtual cam on Streejelly once I set the Output res to the "Basic Member" allowance - 640x480. Worked pretty well - It got me invite to Premium level....78^)
