Simple request, can somebody give me some settings that'll let my system run smoothly while streaming on OBS? For some reason I'm always at 80-90% CPU usage. I've tried everything and I'm not familiar with the software.

Hmmm at that cpu usage i'd check first at the Advanced setting tab and look what x264 preset is set in there? And what's the process priority?

What are your current Encoding and Video settigs?

OBS setting estimator will give you a good reference for optimal settings https://obsproject.com/estimator
(Please note: the box where it asks for your upload speed its in Kbps. So 10.xxMbps upload will be 10000 Kbps.)

Ultrafast will be lower quality but if thats okay to you i guess its the way to go. But just letting you know if it was at Veryhigh (default), with that cpu it shouldn't be the problem. The problem is in somewhere else. I'd like to know your bitrate, output res and fps. Also make sure "multithread optimization" is checked/ticked in Advanced settings.
