Can't find Headset-Audio device for using MIC in OBS

Hey guys,

first of all, sorry for my bad english, I'm from germany and my english isn't that well.

I just connected my HyperX Cloud 2 Headset to my Laptop (XMG A507). There is no problem in hearing sounds or
talking in progams like discord or teamspeak. But if I want to create a Source in OBS for audio output (or input),
the program just finds "Microphone Realtek R-Audio", which is the source of my laptop, no external headset or microphone.
Also in Windows Sound settings I can't find an other option than "Microphone Realtek".

So I don't understand why I can hear everything and speak in Discord with other people, but can't connect my Headset
with OBS. Do you maybe have any solution for this?

As long as Windows not seeing it OBS cannot see it neither.I would focus in audio device manager for Windows to see what may be happening.
 
I believe cyclemat is correct. Typically, plugging a headset into your built-in audio jack will cause the headset to replace the built-in speaker and microphone, rather than registering as a new device. If I understand what you're saying and what I see in your images, this is normal behavior. Just use your "Microphone Realtek R-Audio" device as your input capture source in OBS. If you would like your headset to be a separate device(IE if you'd like to be able to use both your headset, and your built-in audio devices simultantiously), you could get a cheap USB audio dongle or a docking station that includes audio jacks, which would be listed in your device manager and sound mixer as a new audio device.
