Can't find Headset-Audio device for using MIC in OBS

Hey guys,

first of all, sorry for my bad english, I'm from germany and my english isn't that well.

I just connected my HyperX Cloud 2 Headset to my Laptop (XMG A507). There is no problem in hearing sounds or
talking in progams like discord or teamspeak. But if I want to create a Source in OBS for audio output (or input),
the program just finds "Microphone Realtek R-Audio", which is the source of my laptop, no external headset or microphone.
Also in Windows Sound settings I can't find an other option than "Microphone Realtek".

So I don't understand why I can hear everything and speak in Discord with other people, but can't connect my Headset
with OBS. Do you maybe have any solution for this?

I added some pictures for explanation. Thanks in advance guys <3

As long as Windows not seeing it OBS cannot see it neither.I would focus in audio device manager for Windows to see what may be happening.

I believe cyclemat is correct. Typically, plugging a headset into your built-in audio jack will cause the headset to replace the built-in speaker and microphone, rather than registering as a new device. If I understand what you're saying and what I see in your images, this is normal behavior. Just use your "Microphone Realtek R-Audio" device as your input capture source in OBS. If you would like your headset to be a separate device(IE if you'd like to be able to use both your headset, and your built-in audio devices simultantiously), you could get a cheap USB audio dongle or a docking station that includes audio jacks, which would be listed in your device manager and sound mixer as a new audio device.
