Question / Help Can't find HDMI-in device w/ AverMedia AVerTV HD DVR (C027)

Hello all,

I hope my subject helps explain the issue I'm having.

I can watch HDMI input through the AVer MediaCenter 3D app, but OBS only sees the analog devices (composite/s-video and component) and does not see the HDMI device.

I'm sorry, but that's not how it works. To get HDMI, select "AVerMedia BDA Analog Capture Secondary", then click the "Open Crossbar" button and select "1: Video SVideo In" from the dropdown list below "Input".

AVerMedia's drivers use the old kernel streaming crossbar rather than a custom dialog for setting the inputs, so for "BDA Analog Capture Secondary" Composite is actually component and SVideo is actually HDMI.

Your input resolution is set incorrectly. It looks like your Xbox is set to use 1080i or something?
The C027 will not scale the video from your Xbox for you, you have to match the resolution of the input (from the Xbox) to what you have specified in OBS.

In the case of 1080i, that would be a custom resolution of 1920x1080 and a frame rate of 29.97, or just switch resolution on your Xbox to 1280x720.

Hello all,

I am having similar problem as Amaroku.

I wanted to do multi cam live streaming recording. I can watch HDMI input through the Aver MediaCenter 3D app, but when comes to manycam software only sees the analog devices (AverMedia BDA Analog Capture and AverMedia BDA Analog Secondary Capture ) and does not see the HDMI device.

Can anyone help me. I need to solve this problem I need to set it up asap.

I'm not able to get interlaced output with OBS and the C027. When I input 1080i, it always deinterlaces in recording. Is there any trick to get interlaced output? I've tried utvideo, mjpeg and x264. Thanks
