Can't Crop Webcam Feed?

Okay, so I know in OBS on Windows I can hold the ALT key and then click on a handle of my camera feed and trip the video size so taht I can cut off a bit on either side of me.

The ALT key doesn't seem to do it in Linux, and I can't figure out if it's just not possible or if there's a different key I need to use to crop the webcam.

I'm on Linux Mint 20.2 Cinnamon.

ALT often does not work because the DE uses that modifier for itself. Often another more complex shortcut or changing the default DE shortcuts may help. You can also always add a crop filter to your source.

I hadn't realized there was a crop filer for the camera feed! That works great! Thank you!
