Question / Help Can't capture the screen on Catalina

Hi, I managed to get the mic to work by launching OBS from Terminal, but it still doesn't seem to capture the screen. I also tried to capture specific windows, but the only windows it can capture are OBS ones. I added it to accessibility and checked the box for its permissions, but that also didn't help. It seems like a permissions issue though. Any ideas?

Also, I could code my own screen recorder or something if it was easy enough to send the frames to OBS

OK I solved my own problem. First, run an app from the terminal that requests screen recording permissions (I just made an app from scratch). This will give Terminal itself the permissions. Then run OBS from the Terminal.
