Question / Help Can't capture Kodi since v16 (DX11) Black screen.

I'm having a problem capturing Kodi with Gamecapture since v16.
I suspect this is because they switched to DirectX 11.
Steam had the same problem with their in home streaming and fixed it, so maybe you can fix this problem too?

Happens with both OBS and OBS Studio.

Sorry for the late response but, here's a log where I tried to capture Kodi a few times with gamecapture.
Even though it says hooked correctly, it still showed up as a blackscreen.

Having two or more game capture sources trying to capture the same program doesn't work. Have you tried from a fresh scene collection?

Just double-checked including running obs studio as admin, it's something in how kodi from the jarvis line renders differently. Will pass along.

KODI has upgraded to kodi 17 and still the same.. any solution to this apart from display capture .. i would rather use the window capture if I can
