Question / Help Can't capture graphics

Hi,

I've had some problems setting up OBS. At the first try, it worked, perfectly, capturing audio and video. But then, for no reason, it stopped and I really couldn't get it to work again.

Here is the last log file, in which I try to capture a simple software, and then adding a text output for testing purposes, but all I could get was a black screen (sound was correctly streamed however).

If anyone could help me, I'd be grateful!

EDIT : ooook. After a lot of digging, I found that it was the combo between Windows Aero and Nvidia Optimus (this technology sucks) that was the problem, because Aero runs on the Intel chipset, whereas all my softwares (and OBS) run on the NVidia dedicated GPU. Now I'm trying to make Aero run on the NVidia GPU, if that's possible.
If anyone has a solution, I'll take it.

EDIT²: that seems like a desperate cause :(

No, it doesn't work, because Aero always runs on the Intel chipset. OBS was already running on the nVidia card when it didn't work. Now, the only change I made was to disable Aero, and it works.

Ah, maybe that's the case if you are using Window capture. Personally I recommend using Game capture as much as possible.

Hmm, indeed, it works with Game capture and Aero enabled, where I thought it didn't... Oh well, I really don't know what I did. Thanks, anyway :)
