Can't capture audio on MacBook Pro M1, Ventura 13.2.1

Computer: MacBook Pro M1
MacOS: Ventura 13.2.1
OBS Studio: 29.0.2 (64 bit)

I can't capture audio from my computer. I enabled access to screen recording in macOS settings. I try to follow this guide: https://obsproject.com/kb/macos-desktop-audio-capture-guide but it doesn't help. According to the above article, it should be very simple but it is not in my case.

anyone who seees this in the future, i found that the solution is that "desktop audio" is not the correct device, in fact you have to use the device "mac os screen capture" that seems to both capture the screen and audio, hopefully that works for anyone else having this issue
